Scope and Contents
From the Collection:
The Western Maryland College/McDaniel College Textile Collection is an artificial collection consisting of fabrics and cloth-based artifacts related to the College. The collection is arranged by series and spans roughly 1910-2002. The three series are: pennants and banners, clothing and accessories, and beanies. Pennants and banners contain decorative wall hangings with the college colors and logos. The clothing and accessories series consists of branded and homemade wearable textiles with the college name and symbols. The beanies series consists of felt hats worn by freshman at Western Maryland College during the mid-20th century.
