Scope and Contents
From the Collection:
Dr. William Byers graduated from Western Maryland College in 1920. He documented his undergraduate years through photographs he kept in a 14 page album. Illustrative of college life in the early twentieth century the album includes photographs of students, activities, and the campus of Western Maryland College.
William Unger went on to get his M.S. from Lafayette College in 1922. and his Ph.D. from Yale University. Included in the collection is his doctoral thesis The Relationship of Rhythms to Nutrition and Excretion in Paramecium which was published in the Journal of Experimental Zoology in 1926. The other two artcles were papers Dr. Unger pesented at professonal meetings.
