Biographical or Historical Information
Maryland Higher Education Commission promotes Maryland's post secondary institutions. The Commssion establishes minimum requirements for issuing certificates, diplomas, and degrees by post secondary schools in the state. The Commission also oversees the Joseph A. Sellinger Aid program, a state aid program to private independent colleges in the State of Maryland.
