Scope and Contents

The Western Maryland College Historic Postcard Collection contains antique and vintage postcards from WMC and the surrounding area. The collection spans from approximately 1900 to the early 1990s. The majority of the postcards depict various buildings and spaces on campus. There are also many “real photo” postcards showing people and events (sports teams, group outings, etc.). These are primarily from the early 20th century. The postcard collection also has several cards showing buildings from Westminster, Maryland and a few from Baltimore.
