Content Description

This collection contains five Western Maryland College (WMC) yearbooks spanning the years 1947-1951. The volumes are believed to have belonged to Eleanor Nettleship Bowersox and contain extensive annotations and some newspaper clippings, primarily obituaries and other news articles related to classmates and WMC faculty. The collection also contatins college reunion photographs and programs for the class of 1949 and 1950. Other materials of note include: obituaries and memorial service programs for WMC alumni and faculty, a photograph of Eleanor Bowersox's 1938 elementary school class, newspaper articles about WMC's name change to McDaniel College, a Bauersachs Genealogical Society newsletter from 2023, and a Calvary United Methodist Church in Frederick newsletter from 2023.
