Scope and Contents

Class notes taken by Charles Horn when he was a student at Western Maryland College. Notes are from courses economics, political science, sociology, and History The sociology course "The Negro in American Life" was taught by the Honorable Parren J. Mitchell, first elected to the the 92nd Congress of the United States as Maryland's representative from the 7th District. He was a founding member of the Congressional Black Caucus.
