The McDaniel College Hoover Library Senior Art Collection is a project of the Library to purchase a work of a senior art major annually for display in the Library. The collection contains the artwork, artist's' statement, and notes of the artist.

Biographical or Historical Information

The Senior Art Collection was initiated by Hoover Library Director Jessame Ferguson in 2011 to add to the Hoover Library Collection. The Library will purchase one piece of artwork by a McDaniel College senior art major that will be placed on display in the library. The first artwork purchased for this collection is titled "Want vs. Need (series)" by artist Kristin Behrle in 2011.
