Abstract This collection contains items, mostly clothing and ephemera, relating to Western Maryland College and given to McDaniel College anonymously and/or the deed of gift was not returned.  Most of the items in this collection were sent from the Office of Alumni Affairs which received them from unkown donors. Some items were found by staff and administrators who sent the items to the Archives. A few of the items in this collection were found in attics or yard sales and sent on to the College Archives...

Scope and Contents The Western Maryland College/McDaniel College Textile Collection is an artificial collection consisting of fabrics and cloth-based artifacts related to the College. The collection is arranged by series and spans roughly 1910-2002. The three series are: pennants and banners, clothing and accessories, and beanies.
