Biographical / Historical

Dr. Carol A. Fritz served as the associate director of athletics, a tenured-faculty member, and women’s athletics coach at Western Maryland College/McDaniel College from 1967 until her retirement in 2007. Fritz coached volleyball for twenty-three years, basketball for thirteen, and softball for four during which time she obtained over 500 victories in volleyball alone.
