Abstract Memorabilia collected by Joanne Lamb Hayes, class of 1961, during her years at Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College) including programs and invitations, Argonauts Honor Society material, Sigma Sigma Tau material, and photographs of the interior of "Old Main" before it was razed in 1959.

Scope and Contents This collection contains the records of the Argonauts Honor Society at Western Maryland College. This collection spans the years of 1931-1997. The Honor Society was superseded by Phi Beta Kappa in 1980 but it still exists as an award for the graduating senior with the highest cumulative grade point average in the class. The collection is arranged topically then chronologically. The majority of the collection consists of membership records such as inducted members and membership awards.
